A lot of these are free on Amazon and Gutenberg
Thanks for the tip on the freebies at B&N, but a lot of these books, especially some of the Harlenquin books have been free for some time. Thanks for the heads up, keep posting them.

WHY do they require you to enter a credit card for a free book tho?
And then they are going to do a .01 cent transaction on your card (granted 1 penny is next to free but still why the credit card at all? ) |

Yes, it's just part of the encryption scheme (so remember what you tell the, with the exact name, middle init, etc). No actual charges (not even a penny) go thru.

Did I see right, that B&N doesn't support Sony readers?

Don't bother downloading the books that were digitized from Google Books, the formatting is so bad it makes them unreadable, and they have not been proofread so they are full of typos.

B&N uses ereader format (same as fictionwise). The Nook will use a B&N version of EPUB DRM as well, but I haven't run into it on the free reads.
