Multiple authors

Hi

I'm kinda nobb I'm just exploring this software.

Can wee ha more than 1 author. Like for academic work?
And still search for each one of them individually?

And what about for comics? Can i make the distinction between the writer and the pencils?

Author A&Author B (keep on going if needed) is the way to enter.
Internally (the Tag Browser) will tack each

Pencils? there are no stinking Pencils in e-books


You could create a custom field
or put as a second Author: Author B(Ink)

"pencils" ??? Do you, perhaps, mean "the writer and the illustrator?" If so, simply add them as another author and add ", illus." or ", illustrator" after their name.

You can help calibre sort these if you also go to Tweaks in Preferences and track down the "Author sort name algorithm" section and add these to the suffixes section. I've done that and also added entries for "editor"

Alternately, you could add a custom column for illustrators.
