You'd be better off buying the new 9.7" M96 Onyx. It runs Android and will be much cheaper. Whoever is making the software decisions at Sony is an idiot.

Will it be adaptable/hackable in to a stand-alone system that you can use an external mouse/keyboard with ( not that the SONY is likely to be ).

I contacted worldox and they said it's available for 1100 $ with an English interface.

It is an e-ink Android tablet. The specs are listed in the comments of that link. It includes blue-tooth, so I imagine you can connect a keyboard as you would with any tablet. Anyway, this is off-topic. But if I was going to drop $500+, it would be on the Onyx, not the Sony.

First hand or better said one-hand unboxing.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-IVrx0emnH0 As expected, according to sender/receiver etiquette, guy is lawyer and sender is World Software Corporation(Worldox). My apologies, couldn't find a way to delete my double post here. Last edited by markom; 05-07-2014 at 08:43 PM. Reason: deleting |

Apparently Onyx also plan to release an e-ink tablet the same size as the Mobius. |

An Onyx 13.3 Reader with Android would be even better but a man can still dream of a better future. |
