FAILED: Fetch news from New York Times
This morning I found an error message that the NYT could not be downloaded. See log below. I can reach their Web site without problem. Anyone else?

You are using a custom recipe, use the builtin recipe or fix your custom recipe.

Actually that is a recipe that someone on the forum had provided to add the date that the donwload is performed. But you are right, it is a custom recipe. It worked until yesterday, so something must have changed on the NYT site.

Why not just re-customize the recipe?
You probably had skipped the 0.9.16 version of calibre that had made changes to one of the functions used by recipes so when you did the update to 0.9.17 it broke, as opposed to breaking the previous week. Quote:
