No, you can get it from Amazon:

Get that page in your native language and follow Amazon's directions to manually install the update.

All firmware 5.6 or newer MUST use MrPI to install packages.
You will also need KUAL to run MrPI (and your screensaver add-in).

You will have to re-install the screensaver package (and python if your using it).
That is always true.
Your jailbreak will survive the update.

Amazon updates do not effect the books.

Thank you very much for reply, Knc1.
What would be the order of the steps?
1st install KUAL-v2.7.zip
2nd install kual-helper-0.5. N. zip This file not be if required, install it
3rd install kual-mrinstaller-1.6. n. zip
4th update to 5.6.1.1.
For me it is very difficult to translate the pages with a translator and at times I don't know exactly what it means.

Buenos días a todos. Como no hay manera que me salga el salvapantalla del último libro, estoy pensando en restaurar el kinlde a valores de fábrica y volverlo a hacer todo de nuevo. Quería saber si hay algún problema en hacer esto que comento.

The screen saver author is away from the site.
I do not use the screen saver add-in.

So anyone here that uses the screen saver, 'cover mode' is welcome to help solve this problem.

Look inside of the jail break files -
Can you see ANYTHING that might effect the Aa button?
There isn't.

Now take a look at how long this jail break has been posted and the number of downloads of the current version.
And then consider this:

Much more likely that you are experiencing a local case of PEBCAK or something about your device and/or firmware is different.

jb particularly needed for running non-mobi files, so i assume there are not many people who still use native reader after jb.
Anyway that minor issue is not affect functionality.

Are you still writing about the PW-1 on the (current) 5.6.1.1 firmware?

I have six, all on 5.6.1.1, all jailbroken, no change to Aa button behavior.

Has your Kindle Doukan installed, now or previously?
