"invalid start byte" when trying to open a azw3 file with calibre

Hi!

I have a problem when trying to open an azw3 file with calibre. I get the error messages " invalid start byte". Something similar occurs if I try to convert it, but it has no DRM protection. Could someone please help me?
Thank you very much in advance!

Kind regards

Thanks for the instructions, it is the first time I participate in the forum, and it is also the first time that I face this error in calibre.

Mi calibre version is 0.9.0
My operating system is Windows

I'm trying to open and convert an azw3 file (attached) and I get the following error messages:

Your description of OS is a little too general.
Which version? If Vista or newer: 32bit or 64bit?
Service pack level?

BTW 0.9.0 is now 10 releases old but I don't think this will have any effect on you problem, but it is still a good idea to bring your releas to current if you are having a new problem, just to see if the Guru's have addressed that issue.

Thank you so much, theducks!
It was a matter of installing the current version of Calibre, I hadn't realized I had an old one. Great!
