Sony Ebook Store page does not refresh

I have an issue with he Sony ebook store using the Sony provided ebook library software. When browsing the store sometimes the page will not refresh. I notices if I minimize the window, or sometimes if I drag a another window over the ebook library window, the page will refresh. Last night I tried to buy my first book and had to minimize and and restore the window at every click. Also I cant see what i am typing in fields, which is very difficult to deal with.

When this happens all the other functions of the software also do not work. after restarting the ebook library I am able to browse my books and my device. I have tried to reinstall as demonstrated on the forums, but it has not fixed the problem (although my computer is now activated 3 times and I cannot delete the other 2).

I am using Vista 32bit Home premium. has anyone else encountered this problem?
