Really cool bookcases, although I don't recommend the accompanying "No Kindle, no way" article:

The bookcases were very cool. Some were very practical making a virtue out of necessity, and some were impractical, but still cool. I liked the one that used the space under the stairs.

The author might be just a little bit surprised how many people have both paper books and e-readers.

I'm a book collector with over 2,000 titles in my collection.

Most of these bookcases (as well as the books, I would imagine) make me drool with desire and anticipation.

Some of those look REALLY cool. I wish I had a wall big enough to have the "READ" book shelves.

I still have plenty of books on bookshelves. So I enjoyed looking at these. But it's getting so I could use a bookshelf for my e-readers.

Definitely! If we had a staircase that is... Hmm, are there beds with built-in bookshelves? I think that might be nice.

The under-stair case looks really nifty and I like the visual aesthetics of the two round ones and the surrealist-looking left-hand on the bottom and 9th down in the centre column ones, although I question their practicality in easily allowing access to the books to be read.

Apparently not included, but also nifty: the modular Tetris bookcase, for which you can find DIY instructions or apparently buy pre-made components commercially (more action pics which seem to be made from those). Here's another variant which can be rearranged in neat formations, and here someone's combined the bookcase with foldout bed storage.

And via neatorama, the bathtub made of old books, which is apparently intended to eventually be functional.

ETA: Apparently that circular bookcase in the OP link is supposed to function like a hamster wheel, in theory at least.

Actually bears a very mild resemblance to a "library" that sold in Munich for a very large lump of dosh last year.

'Cept for the age & rarity of the books, naturally.

And the 18C bookshelves.............

Come to think of it, it looks more like a very erudite officer's bunker on the Somme in WW1...........
