Post Wodehouse, P.G.: William Tell Told Again (Illustrated). v1.1 24 Dec 2009

Sir Pelham Grenville Wodehouse (1881-1975) was a popular English comic writer. His books are usually set around pre-war upper-class English society.

"William Tell Told Again" (1904) is, as its name suggests, the story of William Tell, the Swiss legendary hero who... you know what he did, don't you? It is written in an easy style, with the humorous touch typical of the author. Illustrated by Philip Dadd, it also contains verses by John W. Houghton, which are intended to be read as an independent version of the story.

I created this version from the PG text, the original book can be read here. I added curly quotes, a TOC, and some formatting and hyperlinks to read the two stories (verse and prose).

Any kind of feedback is welcome.

EDIT (v 1.1): Fixed metadata
