References to images in the guide: are they legal?
Hello
As I understand it the OPF 2.0.1 specification states that an 'href' attribute in the guide can only target a content document, yet an example from lynda.com regarding the conversion from ePub to mobi reads href="images/464.png". I'd like to know if this syntax is allowed in the mobi specification or if it would at least pass validation. Thank you very much. Giordano |

You don't include images in the manifest of a Mobi file - if you do, you'll end up with them in the book twice.
You can certainly use relative image paths in the HTML source for the book - Mobi Creator (or whatever tool you're using) will pick the image up and do the right thing with it. |
