Table of contents error - Help please

Everything works, including table of contents in kindle preview but when TOC menu is opened it shows up window with table of content errors saying 'no table of contents.'

Mobipocket Creator Publisher v 4.2 build 41

Microsoft Internet Explorer
4.0 (compatible; MSIE 7.0; Windows NT 6.0; Trident/5.0; SLCC1; .NET CLR 2.0.50727; Media Center PC 5.1; .NET CLR 3.5.21022; .NET CLR 3.5.30729; .NET CLR 3.0.30729; OfficeLiveConnector.1.5; OfficeLivePatch.1.3; .NET4.0C; BRI/2)0

Line: 149
Character: 3
Code: 0
Message: Object doesn't support this action
Url: file:///C:/Program%20Files/Mobipocket.com/Mobipocket%20Creator/rsrc/html/guide.html

How do I get past this point to finalise my publication? (What I did find at one time, was a chronological/numerical listing of tocs that were identical except for the final digit.)
I've been trying to unblock this now for more than two weeks.
Thank you in anticipation.

So in Kindle Previewer you see your NCX TOC but the Physical TOC doesn't open? It looks like you used your Guide feature in MobiPocket, but did you link it correctly? "yourbook.html#TOC" or whatever you named your TOC.? That's pretty simplistic but I had to ask.

I format my books in Word, but no longer use MobiPocket... Calibre for both the epub and mobi generation. Both NCX and TOC work beautifully.
