Hi
You can get apps to read most formats, including the Kindle app for mobi and azw, and aldiko for epub. You can choose to hold the tablet in portrait or landscape. Nice screen, don't turn the brightness up too much though or it will get tiring. If you use aldiko you can set a beige background instead of white. |

I read on the original Galaxy Note. It is my main e-reader. I use Aldiko and the Kindle apps and it works great.

I have a Note 2 and I love reading on it. I use FBReader and CoolReader for epubs or mobi, Kindle App for Amazon books, Press for my Google Reader, and Pocket for reading saved web articles.
I rarely touch my Nexus 7 for reading now that I have my Note 2. But I still use my Nook for novel reading mostly. |

I've never read a whole book on my original note but I do read on there from time to time.

Hell, I read books on my GSII so reading on the Note 2 should be even better.

I was wondering why everyone just bought a Note II ... until I looked at the date of most of the posts. I thought I had fallen into a time warp for a minute there.
