Date published
Does anybody know a reliable way of obtaining (in bulk, preferably) the original publication date?
My metadata tends to be a bit of a hotchpot; cover from the latest publication and comments from whichever one seems best. Hence, I have a number of publication dates after the author died! OK, I know that this is a function of the publication that I have selected which invariably is not the original. Also, can I avoid holding publisher details? |

Configure the Metadata download settings:
There is a button at the bottom of (a single title) Metadata editor screen. You can set which fields to populate overall OR by each source. You can change the source to use Priority number there |
