Book dragging

Having some [edited] real dramas getting some books onto this device.

Kindle PW 5.3.1 JB'd

Using calibre to send to the main memory on the device, but nothing is showing on the kindle.

Could be the jailbreak causing the problem. I've used multiple kindles with calibre and never had a transfer issue.

First- this is a public forum...clean-up the language or you're unlikely to get much help.

Second- If Calibre indicates the books are on your PW, check to see if they went as documents... if they did, you need to remove the pdoc tag during conversion in Calibre.

Third- Try reconverting in Calibre as you may have a corrupted book.

Fourth- referr back to First.

Even all the books I get off my cloud I can't find them.

Are these books you have gotten from Amazon or ones you have uploaded to the Amazon cloud?....A little more information other than "it doesn't work" would be helpful.
If these are books you have uploaded to Amazon cloud and then sent to your PW, check under Documents.

These are legit books I have purchased from Amazon.

Calibre can see them but nothing on the PW apart from the books the original books you helped me find in documents.

I tried adding all the recently cloud downloaded book on my device from Calibre but nothing found still.

A corrupt book file can cause the Kindle to not show any books at all (assuming they are going to the documents folder like they should be).

I'd try removing all books and putting just one book on the device. If that shows up go from there. If even one book doesn't show up a factory reset might be in order.

So these are books purchased from Amazon, downloaded to your PW and then transferred to Calibre, then transferred back onto your PW by Calibre?

I downloaded them from my cloud. Still not on the device. Checked calibre, it can see them on the device. Added all the books from device onto Calibre library. Deleted books on device. Added books from Calibre. Still nothing.

Will give this 1 book a go try.

Can you open/view these books in Calibre? If not, then likely DRM issue.
