Thank God, I found here, I need your help, I brick my Kindle 3

I install a third-party system, and the Kindle stuck under the damn tree.
I would like to recover it, so I tried to enter a recovery mode, and there was a opition "I" Initialize partition, and I would like to get my kindle alive so I clicked the "I", then it seems stuck forever under the tree with some words "please wait a moment while your kindle starts up."

Please help me, I love my Kindle 3!

PS: I just bought for two days, and I would like to take it on my vacation. :'(

Thank you, desertgrandma, I've tried to "restart" at the first place, but I guess the reason I brick my kindle 3 is I click "I" button of recovery menu, I've head if puch the "I" button the kindle 3 will be dead for sure, is that true? Do I have any chance to recover my kindle back?

i bricked mine too- i pressed U (and I) in recovery mode- and its stuck on the damn tree screen forever

Same here!! its been at the idiotic tree for a month! i just gave up...
