SIM CARD Slot ???
Can I use my EE as a mobile ? if not then what is the sim card slot for in the EE ? and the mobile broadband settings???

The SIM card slot is useless. The EE does not have a 3G radio inside.
enTourage from Day 1 (back in 2009) announced that they would offer a 3G model. However, for whatever reason, a 3G model never materialized for either the EE or the PE. However, a single plastic case was manufactured for each model that would allow both a wifi-only and 3G hardware version, saving costs, etc. That's why there's a SIM card slot, and why it's useless. |

It can be used as a convenient carrying case for extra SIM cards. I have a phone with two different SIM cards (one for the USA, one for abroad), and a SIM-card-sized slot comes in handy, if I'm carrying the EE anyway.
