Good price. Last month she gave them away individually. So if you missed out on that you can grab the set for a good price. She is a former Dorchester Publisher author that went indie after having problems with them. I'm currently reading her Spying in High Heels series.

The original source for this deal seems to be Smashwords, where apparently it's deep-discounted as part of the Read an E-Book Week sale: direct linkage to the SW version of Hollywood Headlines Mysteries Boxed Set (Books 1-3)

I moderately enjoyed Spying in High Heels which I got as a freebie (still free @ Smashwords, by the way), and I'm sympathetic to Halliday over the Dorchester situation, even though I'm not too keen on her yanking existing series to KDP Select-ivize, which apparently kills re-downloading of purchased books in several stores.

I think I'll be picking up this one to show support for both the author and MultiFormat DRM-free sales via Smashwords (and I'll be very sure to back up multiple copies of my purchase in various locations, just in case), even though I have all the individual books from the KDP Select freebie-ization.

Only just started it but I'll let you know. I've just finished the Stephanie Plum's series so I'm looking everywhere for similar type books and the High Heels series was recommended to me because I love Plum!

When I was looking at some Lois Greiman/Chrissy McMullen mysteries, several of the Gemma Halliday books showed up in the "other people who bought this book also bought these" recommendations. So going in reverse, the Lois Greiman mysteries might be another similar series. I think they taught me that in math too many years ago, if a=b then b=a or some such thing.

A couple of the later ones in the series are in Smashwords REW sale, which I think ends today (March 10). I've got some links in my post #5 in this thread:
