Shopping my first ebook reader
I am so new, I don't even have a gadget yet. I am going to get one soon, but so far I have been baffled by the new array of tablets that have come onto the market.
Anyway, I am a self-employed window cleaner in Gainesville, FL. My kids are grown and my wife and I have only a chihuahua. I am an audiobook junkie, but there are times I wish I had the text to look at and make reference to. I will likely be most interested in reference works and history books. I was set on getting a nook, but I have a customer with a nook, and she says she thinks the kindle is much better. Then she suggested that I get the Samsung Tab. Great. I feel like I am starting the hunt all over again! Anyway, I am trying to spend less than $200. Later! Don |

Welcome Don! Best of luck finding an e-book reader. To be honest, you'll probably be happy with your e-ink reader regardless of which one you get, so don't worry!

The kindle supports mp3 so if you like audio books you may want to look into that, it also has e-ink, i think the sony has mp3 to but if your not reading much maybe an lcd would be better like and ipod touch, the e-ink is good for reading lots like hours

Welcome Don!
This deal is the best I am aware of, financially. I'm pleased with mine. The deal is good through the 20th. https://www.mobileread.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=111330 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16858723010 |
