Need help while converting to .LIT

i have both RMR and Overdrive the standard one.
i would like to convert a .doc to a .lit.
But unforunately, the RMR wouldn't do encoding when it faced encoding error, which was some CSS error as it displayed. The overdrive would continue converting but inside the product, what i could find was messed words, placed not very neatly, which wasnt the style i saw in the .doc using "WORD"
Can any1 suggest some ways for me or make me a .lit directly :P

Does RMR work ok if you clear text format?

In overdrive did you use htm files?
