This appears to be a reduced size edition of The Unofficial Harry Potter Cookbook ($8.62). There's no description yet on the free edition, but the size is less than half that of the more expensive edition.

I read the reviews for this during the night. Evidently it is for basic items, such as mashed potatoes. Things that can be had in any cookbook. There is some sort of 'lead in' writing for each recipe, trying to tie in to the HP world.

Yeah, that pretty well sums it up. I can't speak to the full book, but this "selections from" freebie was pretty basic. It's a "Christmas Menu", so it's designed to be an entire dinner menu. I wasn't impressed enough with any of the recipes to try making anything here.

Maybe for me they're more interesting as they are completely different from the Dutch kitchen...
