How to multiple libraries (newbie)
Hello
I could not find anything on calibre and related documentation that teaches one on how to create multiple libraries on the same pc. I need to organize my books on diferent libraries. The only thing I saw was switch/create but that does not seem right. Could someone out there give some pointers on how to do it? Many thanks Ed |

It's right. Either create one from scratch, or copy an existing one and edit it. To create from scratch should be obvious (ask if it isn't). To copy an existing one, just copy the entire current library folder, books and all (the one that has metadata.db in it - using your OS copy tools), then switch to it inside Calibre and edit the books as desired.
