Any ETA on kindle 3?

Howdy,

I am wondering if there are any rumors about the kindle 3 floating around? I have been pretty out of the loop lately. The last rumor I heard was that they were looking at the mirasol color e-ink type displays.

I have a kindle 1 but find myself lusting after the kindle 2. I would hate to jump and get one right before the kindle 3 comes out.

I am going through a moment of gadget buying weakness so I am trying to make myself resist and just continue using my kindle 1.

There have been rumors of August, but I don't know how substantial they are.

From what I read it would probably still be eInk, but use the new higher contrast screens that are coming out.

Thanks for the links, that is exactly what I was looking for. I like the idea of the sharper display. I am a bit less sold on the UI changes, though I suppose the dx style rotation would give it right/left hand usage. It is definitely enough to hold back and wait for a few months to check out though.
