I had the same thought less than a month ago, but don't worry too much, Kindle 3 is great it's easy to use, update, jailbreak and put in new fonts and screen savers so there's really nothing big to ask
er, just prepare if your kindle freezes every 15 minutes. it's painful and un-avoid-able. (hey don't buy it, I'm kidding) |

Depends on what features and functions you want anaton. So contrary to public opinion the Kindle is not the best for everyone, depednign on what you want:
- Do you want a touch screen, don't buy a Kindle buy a Sony PRS. - Do you want to be able to read any format you could possibly come across, don't buy a Kindle get a Jet Book. - Do you want a reader that is super easy to operate, don't buy a kindle buy a Kobo - Do you want to pay rock bottom low prices for the reader, don't buy a Kindle buy an Aluratek Libra Pro If you want one of these features then yes buy the kindle: - Multilingual dictionaries - Ability to take notes in the margin - Ability to put your name in your reader. So it really depends on what is important to you, and there is no best for everyone. |

Good to have your company, Anilom. Take a few minutes to browse the *Which One Should I Buy?* forum here at MobileRead. The independent reviews of most devices by non-partisan hands-on users might help in your choice. Best wishes. Neil
