Date in Title (RSS Newsfeed)

I apologize in advance, if this was explained in a different thread. I tried to find a solution on this forum, but didn't come across any.

I have the KOBO WiFi, and I download rss newsfeeds. For instance, The Onion daily feeds, displays like this on my KOBO

The Onion [Fri, 13 Jul 2012]
The Onion [Thu, 12 Jul 2012]
The Onion [Tue, 10 Jul 2012] <---
The Onion [Wed, 11 Jul 2012] <---

looks like the title is alpha sorted, and makes the feeds display out of sequence. Is there a way to have the news feeds sorted on my KOBO, so that the days are in Order, (latest first in series, oldest last) i.e. Fri, Thu, Wed, Tue, Mon, Sun, Sat.. etc.,

or have the date in the Title changed to:

The Onion [2012 07 13, Fri]
The Onion [2012 07 12, Thu]
The Onion [2012 07 11, Wed]
The Onion [2012 07 10, Tue]

Which might make the series autosort itself?

Thanks in advance for any pointers.

Modify the recipe and set timefmt field to generate the timestamp in the format you desire.

Doesn't the kobo have a sort on date function?
