It is a funny article.

Although, I'm actually thinking of buying at least three more Kindles. Since I can have them all under the same account, it would make it much easier to have one bedside, one at the office, one in my purse and one to loan out.

Not that I'd laminate the house with them .... but, I'm also the "loon" that has a TV in every room of the house.
