Video Chat (getting close)

Hello everyone,

Long time reader, first time caller. Thought I'd share the results of this afternoon's experiment. My wife and I have Pocket eDGe devices updated to Golden Ermine 2.2 (although the Android market plug in did not install at all, will deal with it another day).

We installed Yahoo! with the Yahoo! Messenger plug in. After creating Yahoo! accounts and adding each other as a friend we were able to make a call between devices - sort of. Audio works just fine. We can see our own video on the device during the call but the space where the remote video should be is blank. So... I call it 90% of the way toward free video calling!

(FYI - Farnsworth app on the iPhones works OK, but the video is asynch, not real time)
