I don't. I have a Sony. But it does also suffer from dead battery syndrome. Just takes weeks instead of hours to happen.

Well, the battery itself probably would last close enough to forever left in a dump somewhere. (Or my desk drawer, which amounts to nearly the same thing.) At least enough for an archaeologist to find and wonder.

How long it can hold a charge and the number of times it can be recharged is a different finite measure.

Dead batteries do tend to last forever (unless you can recondition them).

eBooks suck because first additions don't tend to appreciate in cost the way HB first editions do. Try and sell your first edition [favorite author] eBook in 50 years and see what you get!

eBooks are inferior to pBooks because you can't leave them scattered over your desk, open to different pages, to show managers, co-workers, family, etc. how busy you are. People see you looking at a neat little eBook reader and assume that whatever you're doing can't be that complicated, so it's ok to interrupt you.

because the new long life battery is nothing more than an atomic pile, no backlight needed since you glow too

either that or they assume you're playing a game and want to join in too.

No, go away.
It's not a game and I wouldn't let you play if it was, now go away.
I'm telling you, it's not a game... look.
Bah, I can't get anything done! I'm going to go bug George now.
