Hope you are feeling better soon, Wes! There are few things more boring than being stuck in the hospital for "testing". Keep us posted on your condition.

Don't you love the way hospitals work. Cripes.
Be sure and let us know how the angiogram comes out. |

I hope it turns out to be something very, very minor!
I ended up unexpectedly suck in the hospital for 6 days (blood clot!) and *boy* was I glad I had my eReader with me! I'd've gone nuts otherwise. Just had to be sure my friend brought my recharger with her when she brought me stuff from my house... Feel better soon! Sayhello |

Well, I just got back home. You've seen that commercial-- "He was a big man, but he was struck down by a blood clot..." That was me. I had to have an Angioplasty, kind of roto-tootering of my coronary artery. That's not nearly as scary as "we're going to stick this long wire into your crotch."
Anyway, I feel fine now. Just a little weak. Thanks to everyone for their best wishes. I almost just finished "The Castaways." |

That's excellent news.
It's great they were able to mend you so quickly, and you're back home now. I must say I wouldn't relish the prospect of wire going into my crotch - I hope it's better than it sounds. |

CLOT! That's pretty serious! I'm sorry that you got your crotch wired, but glad they were able to find the problem quickly. Go easy on the turnip greens, spinach, kale, and assorted greens, and get yourself some vitamin E to take every day. We wouldn't want you to have to go through this again!
Best wishes for a comfortable day and speedy recovery of your health and strength! |
