Some Problems at PDF->LRF : Pics, "ll" and umlaute

Hello,

I have an Sony PRS 505 and I installed calibre (0.4.95) on OSX and see some Problems. Maybe there are allready some answers, but I have not found anything.

1. Converting PDF to LRF
When converting a PDF where the cover is placed on the first page to LRF the Picture is "upside down" (not rotated!). What can I do?
(Not important but disfigurement)

2. ll (small LL like Small

)
At the LRF sometimes the second L is replaced by an blank? The PDF shows it correctly but at the LRF some second l are vanished - but not all of them???

3. German umlaute at News Fed:
The News fed (e.g. Spiegel Online) works fine, but at the result the german Umlaute (Ää, Öö, Üü) are replaced at PRS 505 by Code (HTML?). For Example an "ü" is replaced by ü. At the PC the LRF is shown correctly, but transfered to the 505 this error comes up.

Do you know answers or existing threads

1 is a known bug in pdftohtml for 2 and 3 try switching to EPUB output

Hello,

I tried you hint to use EPUB output but the news (Spiegel Online) does not work. It only creates 2-3 pages with links without content.
