Du meinst das mit den statischen Layouts?

Ist alles eine Frage von CSS und prinzipiell mit jeder HTML-Datei machbar. Sind nur Formatierungen, die z.B. für Webseiten eher selten eingesetzt werden.

Das ist ein altbekannter iBook Bug, hat nichts mit dem iPad zu tun. iBooks ignoriert einfach alle text-align Anweisungen. Für den Bug gibt es eine simple Lösung: einfach in jedes <p>-Element ein <span> ohne jegliche class oder CSS, dann beachtet iBooks auf einmal die Anweisung. Also:

Anderes Problem: Automatische Seitenumbrüche a la page-break-after: always funktionier seit iBooks 1.2, aber nur mit internem CSS, d.h. bei Verwendung einer externen CSS-Datei muss die Anweisung, die den automatischen Page-break enthält noch mal in jede xhtml Buchdatei kopiert werden.

Zu Indesign: ich habe gehört, dass Indesign schlechten CSS/Xhtml Code ausgibt, der noch reichlich nachbearbeitet werden muss. Mag ein tolles Programm für Papierausgaben sein, aber mit epub hat ADOBE noch Schwierigkeiten. Gibt Abobe aber auch offen zu. Für den Preis (€ 600 oder so) von Indesign würde ich mehr erwarten.

Tut mir leid, aber das stimmt so nicht. Wenn ich bei per CSS links, rechts, mittig definiere, wird das auch so angezeigt. Ich benutze allerdings auch interne CSS.

Mich nerven derzeit zwei andere Probleme seit dem neuesten Update viel mehr.

* Große Innengrafiken werden bei mir nicht mehr angezeigt.
* Vor jeden page-break-before baut iBooks jetzt noch eine zusätzliche Leerseite ein.

text-align Anweisungen funktionieren nur, wenn automatischer Blocksatz ausgeschaltet ist. CSS funktioniert bei mir auch mit iBooks 1.2.1 nicht, jedoch scheinen jetzt die Seitenumbrüche auch bei externem CSS zu funktionieren. Was mit jedoch funktioniert sind text-align Anweisungen in h1 - h3 Tags. Mehr benutze ich nicht.

Bezüglich der Grafiken habe ich noch nicht zu viel Erfahrung, jedoch weiss ich, dass ein ganzseitiges Bild auf iBooks die Maße 600x860 px nicht überschreiten sollte und dass bisher iBooks keine width Anweisung direkt auf das img-Element versteht. Man muss da mit einer div-Klasse arbeiten. Kann aber sein, dass dies jetzt im iBook 1.2.1 funktioniert. Wie gesagt, ich arbeite z.B. nicht viel mit Bildern.
