Talking about this... Any news from NookDevs? It´s been almost a month that B&N released version 1.4.1 and still no way out?

I'm sorry the question, but what is the advantage of softrooting your nook?

bruenorz--
You can use calibre without softrooting your nook. The calibre transferred books will show up under "my documents" instead of books. Softrooting will allow you to display your books in an integrated list that'll show both the books from B&N as will as your own documents. It'll also allow you to use the "cover flow" view on books you've uploaded yourself--something you can't do with the default firmware.
