This is really a delayed April Fool's joke, and I have posted one on MR already, but I thought this was funny enough to risk posting on April 3rd. And it won't confuse search engines for eternity. Or maybe it will. But it's worth a chuckle anyway.

Allowing unauthorized third parties to provide the “scent” for a book substantially changes the underlying work to a degree that infringes upon the author’s copyright, not to mention artistic vision.

I just finished reading Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. When Montag pays a visit to old man Faber, this quote from the book seemed appropriate for this thread:

Faber sniffed the book. "Do you know that books smell like nutmeg or some spice from a foreign land? I loved to smell them when I was a boy."
