FBReader 0.6.3 to be ported for Nokia 770

Remember Misha's post of last month regarding the e-book reader FBReader? Further down he mentioned that he had plans to spend some time on porting the reader to Gtk+ and subsequently add support for the Maemo platform.

Teleread picked up the story today welcoming the fact that the reader is being ported for the Nokia 770.

I think it's news when it's actually happened, don't you?

It did happen back then, didn't it? (screenshots, link to the maemo port) Btw, I am just as excited about it as you!

You're right.

I misread the note (and didn't check the original) thinking it was describing plans then in the making.

I'm so glad now that Planet Maemo is aggregating much of the 770 news so it gets spread a little wider. I know there's so much that I miss . . .

And if Misha is part of the Nokia 770 team, I think probably it will take full advantage of everything there. For instance, in the dialog capture, it looks like the controls are there for changing fonts, the way you can in Maemo Word.

I hope this little splurt of attention leads him to put up newer screen grabs.
