Calibre CPU Usage & German Recipes

Hello,

I am very happy about Calibre.
Maybe one of you can answer those two questions to me:

- When Calibre updates information CPU usage goes up extremely high
so the fan gets most to do. Is it really that CPU consuming ? It runs
under Vista.

- In quite old version, German recipes were included. For some versions
now, I miss such a collection. Was there a reason for being removed ?
Can I get a list somewhere ?

Thanks a lot in advance !

Updating metadata causes a resorting of books in the GUI, this is what causes high CPU usage.

No german recipes have been removed from calibre, they are all present under the German language section in the recipe dialog.

Hello,
this is what I expected.
Unfortunately I only have left the planned ones (from the time I saw them) and
- Bosnisch
- English
- French
- Italian
- Croatian
- Netherlands (Dutch?)
- Portughese
- Serbian
- Spanish
- Unknown

I deinstalled Calibre and reinstalled - no change - even my old planned recipes remained. Do I have to delete something manually somewhere ?

Best regards
Matthias

When you schedule a recipe for download, it moves into the Scheduled section (entry in green). If you de-schedule it, it will re-appear in the main list.

I wonder why German is omitted frrom the list given? It is present in my copy of calibre 0.5.6 with 8 recipes.
