Salvaging an encrypted LIT file
Hi all,
Reading the news about Fictionwise I was trying to salvage all my purchases and then noticed that I had one MSReader title that I had not DRM stripped. Unfortunately, when trying to open this now I get the dreaded "The digital security software that protects this eBook has been updated...". But Microsoft has stopped supporting Reader and re-activation is not possible. This means I cannot use ConvertLIT to strip the DRM. What to do? Is this book lost foerever? /Johan |

Solved it myself since I had a saved keys.txt in another Windows install.
So relieved! /Johan |
