I hope this fw fixed the mess with Bookmarks and Annotations getting lost and Chapter pointers in the TOC not being updated! (I'm on Glo 2.3.1). I think I'll wait a while and let others do the discovery.

Mrs_Often, PeterT, thanks: yes, it is just the firmware I have in mind, and i am asking because there is no direct link to the Mini in the thread you mention, at least not for 2.3.1 for Mini that I am on - so I thought perhaps there were firmware files on the device that I could copy in case I wanted to re-instate the 2.3.1 version (which seems to be working fine so far).

Good point; now... did you ever get a f/w upgrade on your Mini or did it come pre-loaded with 2.3.1? It it came pre-loaded then a factory reset would revert to that version.

I am afraid i will never know! When I bought it I followed the instructions to set it up, which included a sync (I had already an account with Kobo, I tend to buy my books there instead than Amazon on a matter of principle), so i do not know whether it downloaded a new firmware version or whether it came with the device. I still have the box the reader came in, but there is no date that i can read anywhere on the box.

Well I checked by connecting my Glo to Kobo desktop. Nothing happened. Guess this release hasn't hit US yet (I'm in Oklahoma).

Can someone who has this get the build information? This is in the settings on the "Device Information" page. The "Software version" has the version, a build number and a date.
