Uses for USB ports

I have used the USB ports for either attaching mass storage device or hooking up the USB-ethernet adapter.
I guess it can also be used for USB mouse/keyboard.

I was wondering what all else can be/has been successfully hooked to the USB port. I tried searching earlier posts but could not find anything.

I juice my BlackBerry using the USB ports. It's slow going, but a nice option when I've forgotten to charge it and really need to call/text someone.

I use a USB book light on occasion when reading, mainly because I had the light already and the port is a good anchor point. I found that while flash memory drives work with the eGDe, USB-powered hard drives don't (probably draw too much power). Personally I would really like a GPS attachment of some kind to work with the eDGe. Yeah it's is a little big for navigation use, but it would be handy to have since so many Android apps use GPS.

Yes it can. I used a SolidTek mini USB keyboard. Convenient to carry and better than the onscreen keyboard. Also, when keyboard input is required the onscreen keyboard does not pop up and obscure half the screen real estate when a USB keyboard is connected.

They're working on adding support for a USB-to-VGA adapter and hopefully that will be available in a future update.

Yeah, I wasn't able to get a Virgin Mobile Broadband2go USB 3G to work with the eDGe (not surprised)... however, earlier this week Virgin came out with a Mifi device, so I returned the USB modem and bought that instead (should be delivered later this afternoon).

USB HD works, only you have 2 USB heads cable., In manual said that you need more power for drive HD.
I personally use multiple SDCards with SD2USB converter.

I hope the next generation of the eDGe, if it doesn't use a Pixel QI screen, at least has "indiglo backlight" on the e-ink screen Anyone remember that? Indiglo? lol!
