ePub with two column layout

Does ePub can be created with two column layout? What are all the epub readers support multi column layout?

Most of the screens are too small for multi-column.

Devices that use Adobe digital Editions (Sony, B&N) to render ePubs can use the page template extension I mentioned in another thread. 2-column display is fairly trivial with this method, and the text will still display normally as a single column on non-ADE devices.

As JSW said, though, most readers are simply too small to handle multi-column flows.
