Design your Ebook Reader!

How about a thread where you can design your ebook reader?
I'm not a design artist myself, and only have MS paint, but I made a model of a nice looking ebook reader.
I thought, why not sharing it with all of you, and those of you who have plenty of inspiration, join me in creating some great looks for an ebook reading device!

The winner will win the winning model , lol!
Nono, there's no gain to it other than perhaps people commenting on your version!

Ok, here goes mine:

Hehe, I only have MS Paint,
I'm sure those with Paint Shop Pro, or other graphic programs could do better then that!
Still it's quite an achievement (especially the 3D one) to get it done on paint!

Looks good, I assume this is one of those flexible screens since you have left no room for any kind of stiffener to keep the screen from breaking.

I wish... Looks nicely done! But I'd add a scroll wheel on the side. And make it a big thicker.

The EBW1150 with the screen from a Jetbook and the internal lighting from a Sony 700.

That would be PERFECT for me.

A Jetbook with the same kind of lighting that the EBW1150 has.

OR - if it was conceivable - a Jetbook with an e-ink screen with similar lighting that the EBW1150 has.

Yeah, I also thought about a device with the possibility of an ancient scroll, so that you may decide if you need a small screen for pure text or a larger screen (vertical or horizontal flipping included) for more graphic oriented layout like in magazines or comic books.
Of course you'd need a flexible screen material for this, though they already exist.

Always like the big handle of the Rocket eBook. Gave you something to grab, and it was a nice, fitting place for the battery.

Hmm, a scroll... Imagine something like a photographic film. But instead of film coming from that casing, a flexible e-ink screen... You have your big handle (the casing) and a screen to fit your needs!

Exactly! You just either need some sort of flexible base plate or two bars left and right to fix the screen to the desired format.

Funny, I always thought, E-Ink would stand for "Egyptian Ink" But scrolls definitely had their advantages over books, so I wouldn't mind if any reading device would choose their features for a design.
