will be ever a FW-Update für my 9. Gen Oasis. Two updates had been skipped. I hope they will come out later

However bugs and poor functionality is the majority issue with eReaders. Security is almost a non-issue, like MP3 players, DVD or VHS except for Andriod models that allow user installs.

If Amazon doesn't push another update for these slightly older devices, there'd probably be a solid case made for doing a jailbreak and using a community fix.
