new to pocket book 301+

Hi all,

Recently I have purchased pocketbook 301+ and is satisfied with the initial performance, Last day I have tried to read epub version of a book using fbreader. After reading that using fbreader i tried adobe reader and found that there was images in the book which was not shown when using fbreadr is there any thing i could do to make image show in fbreader. also image is not show in reflow mode

Also one more thing I have converted a regular pdf to epub format using the calibre software and it was a book with lot of images but the image was not properly aligned with the text some of the images was like the "mirror image"
reverse of the original image

Is there any better software or should i need to do some thing in calibre to make things work.

For the pdf conversion, try the converter at mobipocket.com installed as the professional version. In the process of converting the pdf to mobi it drops a good quality html in the conversion folder. You can try converting that to epub.

Install FBReader from this thread.

The newer versions are towards the end of the thread.
There are basically two separate branches. One developed by graynm and the other by Scifican. Try which one works for you.

thanks for the help both of you . I have downloaded and installed the progaram and it is much better that the old version that is shipped with the pocketbook.
