This might be a dumb question, but can it be downloaded to non-Kindle devices? I am just looking for a new read and would be happy to provide feedback but only have an iRiver Story device.

Hmm... It is only on the Amazon Kindle store right now, but it is DRM-free. So I think you would just have to convert to ePub with Calibre and it should work. I'm honestly not real familiar with iRiver, though, but I'm pretty sure that would work.
