Delete ebook from device

I'm currently debating between the Sony PRS505 and the Cybook Gen3, and trying to confirm which one supports deleting content directly from the device.

I checked out the user manual for both devices.
The Sony Reader does not appear to allow deleting media, or at least there is no mention of it in the manual.
The Cybook Gen3 does have a "Trash Can" button for deleting media, but the manual says it's not enabled in "v1.0" (not sure what that means).

So it looks like neither device allows for this. Could you confirm?

Thanks,
Julien Couvreur

The 505 does not allow deleting content from the device itself. That I can confirm. But why do you need to do so anyway?

Hopefully it means it will work in a future firmware release. Personally I am more interested in folders and being able to move files between folders.

Folders or something similar has been promised in a firmware release in Q1 of 2008.

Thanks for the clarification.
I want to use the device not only for long-reading books, but also for a flow of small article and web snippets. Such small content I would want to delete as I read it, and have that deletion be reflected on my online reading queue.

Cheers,
Julien
