As to why. If you reside in the USA you can't ethically download the free mobileread collection but since the Karpathos version is available you could get /it/, assuming the while that everything is in order, ie they have the permission of Conrad's estate. |

Latest release from Delphi is the complete works of Saki (the pen name of Hector Hugo Munroe). He specialised in short stories satirising Edwardian society. Wonderful author, and well worth a read if you've not come across him.
On sale now at Delphi for $1.49 (approx £1.06). http://www.delphiclassics.com/shop/saki/ |

Just saying... (Although the Delhi edition seems to be more complete). |

Yes, you were too quick. I have already edited my post.
One more thing concerning Joseph Conrad though: I don't think any of his works are still protected by copyright anywhere in the world. The Delphi edition is available everywhere, and they always publish different regional editions when some works are still under copyright. |

He work is still in copyright in a few oddball places, such as Mexico, which has a "life + 100 years" copyright term. |

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saki And his satire still sounds today. try "The Toys of Peace" and "The Storyteller", the one with the punch line "A most improper story to tell children" |
