Remove the iPad drivers?

I no longer use Calibre or iTunes to move books to my iPad. However, whenever I connect my iPad to my PC while Calibre is running it will automatically launch iTunes. Is there a way to remove the iPad driver from Calibre to prevent this? Thanks!

Go into Settings->Advanced->Plugins->Device Interface Plugins; highlight the Apple device interface entry and click on the Enable/Disable plugin at the bottom of the screen. The entry is greyed out when it is disabled.

Note that this was the recommended setting anyway even when using iTunes to move books to your iPad (as in that case the Connect to iTunes method is the recommened one).
