Internet problems - question?

Is anyone else having problems reaching sites like CNN, Fox News, Google, Bing and Yahoo this morning?
I can't get to any of them - yet I can surf here all I want.... ??

What happens if you do a "tracert" to one of them? Is it a name resolution problem, or a routing problem?

Hmmm.. I think it must be a intrnet provider issue - I can't reach anywhere but here. I had left this window open for a bit, and after whatever problem occurred, I can still reach here, just nowhere else I have tried.

Sounds like a DNS problem - ie it's unable to find any domain names. Try opening a command prompt window and typing:

ping url

where "url" is some site name. If it comes back with the message "Unable to resolve ..." then it's a DNS error at your ISP.

Also reboot your router. Yesterday my internet speeds dropped by 90%.
Turns out my router wasn't happy, so I had to 'power cycle' it. That basically turning it off, and leaving it off for a minute or two then turning it back on.
