And yesterday I ran into a situation where I couldn't leave the cover folded back at all. I stopped to eat and it was at an outdoor metal table... the reader kept instantly going off, and I kept wondering if the black cover would have done that. I'll have to switch covers the next time I'm in that area just to test it. Luckily at least while sitting at a table I didn't really need the cover folded back, I would have been really ticked if I couldn't read.

Edit: I managed to test it at home, we have these old steel radiator covers which produces the same effect even on the black cover. So I'm still very happy with the navy cover with the foil stuck inside hehe.
