See the line
'storage': []

Your nexus 7 is reporting it has no available storage, so calibre is ignoring it. Rebooting your device and/or your computer might fix that.

Thank you. Rebooting the Nexus seems to have unblocked it.

Aware this is old post, but it helped me out last time.
Anyway, have same problem with Nexus 7 have Calibre 2.19.
Calibre worked OK for some time and could see and add to it. Now however, I can only add to it and it does not show what is in my library.
I had problem with win7 64bit detecting Nexus and so tried some ideas, so can gurantee that I messed up along the way, but don't know how.
Tried various re-boots and even a restore, but no luck.
I even ran start up wizard and created a new library, it still does not show old or even the new book.

Any ideas?
