Add Text To Speech to the Reader

Add Text To Speech to the Reader. Pico TTS data installed fine and the TTS Service Extended configuration nicely says, "Hello". What would be even nicer is if the Reader could read text out loud.

Question

I agree that would be a great function, especially for students needing accessibility. Add speech to text function and e-ink reader in landscape mode and this device would be close to perfect.

When do you start work with them boris?

Text to Speech, i.e. e-book Read Aloud, is for my wife (the CIO) the #1 reason to pay more for the Kindle than the Kobo.

I'd argue that enTourage should prioritize this feature.

I'm hoping for 2.2, or at least 2.1. Most Android devices that are capable of it have been upgraded to 2.1 already.

Yes, I'm disappointed that there hasn't been even a small update to fix some bugs, even if nothing new - but that's always desired too!

Let's hope that the one who is "one with the forum" has some insight!
