shipping to the u.k costs ?

hi ,

i want to order the irex iliad but since they don't ship directly to my country i want to ship it to a friend in the u.k and then he will send it to me .

and my question is will there be any additional costs when i ship it to the u.k ( taxes ..etc )

nope if tax has already been paid within the EU then no aditional taxes should be paid.

i'm not sure but there might be custom tax when your friend ships it to you.

I paid about 100 dollars as custom tax when iRex shipped it to Korea. If I had shipped it to UK and then to Korea (in a scenario iRex doesn't ship to Korea), I would have paid much more. (EU tax + Korean custom) Of course I'm not 100% sure about this.

All packages sent from the UK to countries outside of the European Union have to have a Customs Declaration attached describing the contents and their approximate value.

When my friend sends me a package from the USA she marks the Customs Declaration (green label) as a "Gift" and then I don't have to pay any taxes or custom duties when it arrives here in the UK.

Perhaps this method would work when sending from the UK to your country.

but let's say that i live in the u.k and i want to order the iliad will i be paying any extra cost when i receive it in the u.k ?
